2021 SACO Reunion Registration Form

The 2021 June SACO Reunion is right around the corner and we look forward to seeing you.  There are some housekeeping items that I need to make sure you are aware of prior to registering for the
2021 SACO Reunion:
  1. Dues need to be current for 2021, in order to attend the reunion in Montana.  Please make your check payable to SACO, $35/per person.  All Membership Dues must be mailed to Dairus Reynnet, 8608 E. Vermontville Hwy., Dimondale, MI 48821.
  2. Checks for the reunion need to be made payable to SACO Reunion and sent along with your registration form to:  Dixie Burlingame, 116 North C Street, Livingston, MT 59047
  3. There is no masking mandate in the state of Montana.  Indoor settings where social distancing cannot be maintained you will be asked to wear a mask.  Also, in order to enter Yellowstone National Park, one must show proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of entering the park.
  4. If you own SACO attire such as vests, jackets, visors, hats, etc., please bring them.
ITERNARY FOR REUNION
Wednesday, June 16, 2021 
Arrive.  If you are flying into the Bozeman International Airport, there is a FREE Shuttle to and from the airport.  Please call the shuttle when you are ready to leave the airport.  The phone number for the Shuttle is on the wall in the Baggage Pickup Area.Thursday, June 17, 2021 (box lunch and dinner selection is on the Registration form)
For those of you taking the Yellowstone Tour – departure is at 7:00 am from the Hotel Lobby.  This is a 12-hour day.  Your tour fee is $100/per person, includes a box lunch and bottle water.  There will be additional bottle waters for everyone throughout the day.  We will have dinner at the Montana Rib and Chop House Restaurant in Bozeman at 7:00 pm (after our trip to Yellowstone).  The tour bus will stop by the Grantree Hotel to pick up those who do not participate in the Yellowstone Tour.  IMPORTANT INFORMATION:  In order to enter Yellowstone National Park, one must show proof of vaccine or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of entering the Park.

Friday, June 18, 2021
This is a FREE day for you to relax and enjoy Bozeman.  Dixie has a large amount of information to share; maps, free bus rides all over town, and lots of adventures for you to choose from.  As you explore the beautiful city of Bozeman, remember you represent SACO. Please do enjoy yourself.  Friday night has been left open for the Taiwanese to put on their special dinner.   Anyone not invited to this event is free to enjoy one of the restaurants of your choice, there are several.  If the Taiwanese are not able to join us, Dixie will come up with something for us to enjoy!

Saturday, June 19, 2021 (dinner selection is on the Registration form)
8:00 to 10:00 am – Officer/Trustee Meeting
10:30 am – Membership Meeting
6:00 pm – Banquet in the beautiful Atrium Banquet Room

Sunday, June 20, 2021 – Departure – Check out is at 12:00 noon so book your return flight accordingly and don’t forget there is the free shuttle to the airport.

I recommend you book your hotel reservation ASAP, by May 15, 2021 is optimal, in order to take advantage of the special price for the SACO Reunion.  The absolute last day to make a reservation is May 30, 2021.  We will be staying at the Best Western Plus Grantree Inn, 1325 N. 7th Avenue, Bozeman, Montana.  Call 406-587-5261 or 800-624-5865 to make your reservation.  The rooms are booked for two (2) people so if you are single, you may want to find a room-mate.  If you miss the deadline and they do not have any rooms left, there are four (4) hotels within a block of the Best Western Plus Grantree Inn.  Dixie booked 20 double queen rooms and 5 king suites with fold out couches.   The king suites should go to the married couples so please be considerate.  All rooms are $142/night plus tax.

We will have our Hospitality Room which will also be used for meetings and of course our time together.  Dixie is looking for volunteers to assist with Registration as people arrive and to tend bar in the Hospitality Room.  Judy Barbieri and Carolyn A have volunteered to check-in guests at the Registration table.  Pete Barbieri has volunteered to run the Hospitality Room.  If you are interested in helping in either of these areas, please contact Judy at judy.barbieri@yahoo.com  to help with Registration and pete.barbieri@yahoo.com if you would like to help in the Hospitality Room.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: 

Please bring warm clothes.  Montana in June is considerably cooler than most other places so pack extra clothes to stay WARM, HAPPY and COMFORTABLE.  You will also want to pack comfortable shoes.  It will definitely be cooler in the evenings and could be cooler during the day especially in the Park.

We will only have one day trip, a 12-hour day on Thursday June 17, 2021, touring Yellowstone Park.

If you are interested in the Yellowstone Tour, you must arrive on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 or you will miss this adventure.  We will be leaving the hotel at 7:00 am and returning around 8:30 pm.

REMEMBER: In order to enter Yellowstone National Park, one must show proof of vaccine or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of entering the Park.

Friendly Reminder: when you return your Registration form to Dixie Burlingame, be sure to include a check if you will be participating in any of these activities.  Please note:  the prices listed below are per person so if you are bringing family members, please factor in the cost.

  • $100/per person (tour and lunch) for Yellowstone Tour
  • $40/per person for dinner after the Yellowstone Tour
  • $40/per person for the Banquet Saturday night
