-
Camp Eleven was located at Lingchuan (now Linquan) [lat. 33-04, long. 115-15], Anhwei (now Anhui) Province
Camp Eleven was located 220 miles west northwest of Nanking (now Nanjing) at Lingchuan (now Linquan) [lat. 33-04, long. 115-15], Anhwei (now Anhui) Province. On June 29, 1945, two hundred and ninety-six graduates of Camp Three arrived to set up the camp; they had traveled 400 miles eastward from Sian (now Xian).
The students for this camp were waiting at Fouyang (now Fuyang) 35 miles east-southeast of Lingchuan. Many small groups of men had ridden a Japanese-controlled railway through enemy lines from Shantung (now Shandong) Province and were awaiting instruction.
The war ended before this camp began classes.
